About THE GARDEN CONCIERGE
In 2003, Craig Lemberger and Eric Becker founded The Garden Concierge with the intention of creating a garden maintenance company built on sound business practices, thoughtful use of technology, strong horticultural knowledge, and a deep sensibility for designed spaces.
In the years since, The Garden Concierge has expanded from serving clientele in the Boston and Metro West area to serving clients across the South Shore, Cape, and into Rhode Island, building a reputation for professionalism, consistency, and long-term horticultural stewardship.
Craig Lemberger was born in Madrid, Spain and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended The University of California, Santa Barbara and Brandeis University, earning degrees in Religious Studies and International Business and Finance. After beginning his career in business consulting, Craig discovered his passion for gardens and the designed landscapes that shape them. Over more than two decades, he has helped guide The Garden Concierge’s evolution into a structured fine gardening and property care firm rooted in horticultural integrity and attentive stewardship.
In 2025, The Garden Concierge was acquired by Michael S. Coffin LLC strengthening the continuity between installation and long-term garden care.
Mike Coffin founded Michael S. Coffin LLC in 2014 on the principles of superior craftsmanship, professional project management, and clear communication. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. in Landscape Architecture, Mike brings nearly 20 years of experience in site, masonry and landscape construction maintaining strong relationships with leading builders, architects, and landscape architects throughout the region.
Our Approach
Thoughtful garden stewardship requires more than seasonal tasks. It requires observation, structure, and consistent oversight.
We combine horticultural expertise with organized planning and clear communication to ensure that every garden remains healthy, balanced, and true to its design intent.
Our work is proactive rather than reactive. Through regular visits, documented observations, and seasonal planning, we anticipate needs, identify opportunities for refinement, and maintain continuity across all aspects of care.
Our approach includes:
Dedicated property oversight with a clear point of contact
Proactive seasonal planning and structured garden reviews
Coordination among fine gardening, maintenance, enhancements and partner services
Attention to detail, grounded in sound horticultural practice
Long-term stewardship that preserves design integrity.
